The Bizopen Diamond Bur Olive Shape 392-014 Standard Grit combines the compact round ovoid olive geometry with Bizopen’s standard 180 grit diamond to produce an instrument optimized for root surface debridement, furcation access in periodontal procedures, and internal surface preparation in root canal-treated teeth. The olive or ovoid geometry — a compact rounded ellipsoid — provides uniform curved surface contact against the concave tooth and root surfaces encountered in subgingival and furcation preparation areas, where flat-sided instruments produce inconsistent contact and inefficient cutting. The 1.4 mm maximum diameter olive head is designed for furcation access at the root trunk level on molar and premolar teeth, providing the instrument size that fits within the furcation entrance without excessive flaring of the furcation entrance that larger instruments produce.
