The straight fissure geometry produces zero-draft preparation walls that are parallel from the preparation floor to the occlusal opening — appropriate for the non-retentive slot preparations used in conjunction with adhesive composite bonding systems that rely on micromechanical adhesion rather than mechanical undercut for retention. Bizopen’s 180 grit standard diamond coating on the 1.2 mm diameter body provides the cutting efficiency needed for efficient fissure preparation and slot preparation in both enamel and superficial dentin.
