The Bizopen Diamond Bur Flame Shape 863-010 Standard Grit is a specialized diamond instrument with an elongated pointed flame geometry designed for subgingival margin preparation, interproximal crown finishing, and veneer preparation margin definition in anatomically complex access zones. The flame geometry — a narrow, tapered ovoid shape with a pointed tip — provides direct access to the gingival sulcus for subgingival preparation margin placement without the bulk displacement of surrounding soft tissue that wider bur heads cause. At 1.0 mm maximum body diameter narrowing to a 0.3 mm tip, the flame bur accesses subgingival preparation zones at depths of 0.5 to 1.0 mm below the gingival crest without impinging on the junctional epithelium. Bizopen’s 180 grit standard diamond coating covers the complete flame working surface from the pointed tip through the widest body section, ensuring uniform cutting through the full working depth of each flame stroke. The flame geometry is the instrument of choice for veneer preparation margin finishing at the cervical line and for crown preparation margin definition in the interproximal zone where a larger bur head cannot access the finish line location without removing excessive adjacent tooth structure. The tip geometry also allows direct access to the gingival embrasure floor for interproximal margin positioning on posterior crown preparations. FG shank. ISO 806 314 237 524 010. Maximum body diameter: 1.0 mm. Tip diameter: 0.3 mm.
